Summer has finally arrived in the valley and people are busier than ever enjoying the nice weather with a day at the beach, a game of golf, or boating on the lake. This means there’s less time available for making your own snacks or appetizers, so here’s a quick guacamole recipe that’s sure to please. It’s super easy and only takes about 5 to 10 minutes to make and there is very little cleanup. So, grab your avocados and a nice mexican beer or a margarita, and enjoy!

Hummus is a great Greek appetizer dip, and it is even better with easy-to-make homemade pita chips. You should also take note that both the dip and the chips are easy on the waistline, not to mention the pocket book, and is so simple to make. I started making this appetizer about ten years ago when I learned it was one of my mother-in-law’s favorite snacks. So grab your blender, add your ingredients and get ready to enjoy this great, high in fiber, healthy dip and pita chips that you will soon be calling a favorite as well.
