Shuswap Regionsl Food Network Fundraising Dinner

Come and celebrate our local food shed with dinner, entertainment, dancing and a silent auction. Sit with local farmers, hunters, and gatherers for a delicious five-course meal with the freshest ingredients and beautifully prepared by Conscientious Catering. Crannog Ales will be showcased as well as a selection of hand-made fruit sodas.
Tickets are $40 and can be obtained at the Lake Effect on Hudson or you can email Jen at: foodaction@youthpartners.ca. Seating is limited and tickets will not be available at the door, so get yours early.
Funds raised will support the work of Shuswap Region Food Network and will enable members to attend the BC Food Systems Network Gathering, a nonprofit organization that connects those working on food security Carlin Hall in Tappen
Fall Fair Parade

9:30am - Registration. People and their dogs are invited to gather to
register for the biggest fund raising event of the year for the BC SPCA
Animal Adoption Centre at 5850 Auto Road SE. There will be games
and contests before the parade begins and every participant will receive a Walk tee shirt. There will also be prizes for those collecting the most in donations. After the parade walkers will return to Blackburn Park for a pizza lunch and the awarding of prizes in both adult and youth categories. Balckburn Park Pavillion
