The snowmobiles belonged to Alpine Motorsports from Salmon Arm and they were all newer high performance demo models and included:
- 2008 Yamaha Nytro Turbo (chrome and Red with Alpine Side Plates)
- 2009 Yamaha Nytro Turbo (Red and Blue with Alpine Side Plates)Snowmobile 4
- 2009 Yamaha Nytro Turbo ( White/Yellow/Red/Blue with toucan on it)
- 2009 Yamaha Nytro Turbo ( White/Black/Blue with Alpine side Plates)

- 2010 Nytro Turbo 162″ (Blue with rear Mount Turbo)
- 2010 Nytro Turbo 162″ (Blue with rear Mount Turbo)
As depicted in the photographs, these are very unique snowmobiles which are easily identifiable within the sledding community. Police are continuing the investigation and would ask that all snowmobilers take precautions to prevent their sleds from being stolen. This is the second incident this week of snowmobiles being stolen from Revelstoke. The common practice is to steal the truck, trailer and sleds so protecting your vehicle is protecting your snowmobiles as well.
