Condolences to the families of the lost loved ones this past w/e, Mar. 14. Seeing that B.C. is one of the last frontiers with an abundance of back-country, it would be logical to include some kind of training and disclaimers connected to owning and using snowmobiles where avalanche risk is high. Forestry and parks staff should be able to have an enforcement plan to at least register all users, much like parks. Somebody owns this land where the events take place.
avalanche warnings mean nothing these days.
