		<description>It&#039;s a condominium, which means the land is owned by a strata corporation. A strata is sort of like a co-operative, owned and run by all the owners of units in the condominium. You do not own the land directly, but you do have a sort of normal kind of title, except there are also strata obligations, like maintenance fees. In BC this arrangement is very common, but is not the same as owning your own land in the traditional sense.

I&#039;m a bit surprised that $35,000 is considered the low end of &#039;low income&#039; nowadays. There sure are a whole lot of people living on less than that -- I wonder what they are considered, if not low income?</description>
